Johannes Heiter
Visiting Research Student
I completed my B.Sc. in Physics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where my thesis focused on aqueous sodium-ion batteries. This project sparked a deep interest in electrochemical energy storage, leading me to an internship at the BMW Group. There, I gained industrial insight into the optimization of LFP cathodes and advanced battery characterization. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s in Applied and Engineering Physics at TUM and have joined the Metzger Research Group to investigate gas evolution behavior in sodium-ion systems.
